ArmA: Cold War Assault is a services simulator originally urban and released under the first name Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis by Bohemia Interactive Studios. The Operation Flashpoint first name renamed with the first publisher, Codemasters, and Bohemia went on to develop a further services simulation with the same engine - ArmA.
Due to a contemporary license expiry, Bohemia was allowable to rebrand Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis to the ArmA first name and brand, and this happened in the extra 1.99 scrap which was released to celebrate the game's 10th anniversary.
